At the moment an average day involves familiarising myself with the clients I’m working on, learning about their business and what their objectives are as well as reviewing current performance across campaigns.
What’s the most challenging part of your job?
Being fairly new to the PPC team at 93x, I’m getting used to the different processes that are in place.
Any advice for those who want to do what you do?
Learn, read, learn! There are many great FREE online resources available such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Learning and Google Ads SkillShop where you can learn about paid advertising and the best practices across different platforms. The certifications also look good on your CV.
What future design and/or technology developments in the industry are you excited about?
I’m excited to see how machine learning and artificial intelligence will continue to evolve especially in relation to PPC automation.
What are your passions/hobbies/interests?
I enjoy the outdoors and like finding long walking routes with great views. There are some beautiful places up near me that I visit regularly, Arnside and Windermere are two of my favourites.
I also love cooking and enjoy experimenting with different spices and cuisines.
What’s your favourite thing to read in print/online?
I’m currently reading ‘The Choice Factory’ by Richard Shotton which focuses on 25 behavioural biases that influence what we buy. It is a very interesting read as Shotton outlines ways that we can apply it to our own marketing challenges.
What music is currently on your playlist?
My Spotify playlists have a mix of genres that I like listening to and you’ll often find me listening while I work. Some of my favourite artists at the moment are CKay, Tayc and Tems.
