93x and 93digital have joined the Clarity family

Clarity 93x

93-clarityOften, coming back to work after a holiday weekend makes for a bit of a rough start to the work week.

Today is not one of those days.

I am extremely excited to announce that 93digital and 93x are now part of Clarity, the fast-growing global marketing and communications agency.

Back in 1993, the year I was born and the reason for the 93 in our name, there were estimated to be only 130 websites in existence. Today, there are about 2 billion.

If you had told me that fact then, I would not have believed you. If you had told me that fact then, and added that less than 10 years after dropping out of university to start an agency, that that agency would be joining one of the fastest growing marketing communications agencies in the world, I really would not have believed you.

I see a very bright future for 93digital and 93x as we integrate with Clarity’s expert teams across the UK, EMEA and the US, continuing to deliver the best-in-class digital experiences and digital marketing programmes our clients have come to know us for, while also strengthening our global footprint and expanding our service offering for clients.

But, at such a momentous moment I want to take the opportunity to reflect. Even after a year of 60% revenue growth and our team growing to 35 people, it still doesn’t feel like long ago that I was sitting in my bedroom aged 21 Googling ‘how to start a digital agency’. I started 93digital with no funding, no connections, no cofounder, no team, no case studies and no track record. I was a clueless and naive 21 year old, figuring stuff out as I went whilst doing bits of freelance web design work for £7 per hour to build a portfolio.

It has been a tremendous ride to get to this point, and yet it still feels like we’re just at the beginning.

An agency is really nothing more than the sum of its people, and so I am incredibly grateful to our team as well as all of our clients for their support so far. I could not be more excited to have everyone on board for this next chapter.

For our clients, this move means unlocking the value that can be gained when digital is not merely a bolt-on to a marketing or comms campaign, or vice versa. For our teams, it means the opportunity to grow faster and collaborate with over 100 more talented marketing communications professionals across the world, learning from each other and creating best-in-class work for clients. And for 93digital and 93x, it means having found a place to power the next phase of our journey, with an agency whose values directly align with our own: Global, Fearless and Positive.

I can’t wait to see where this journey takes us.
