What is your role at 93digital/93x?Ellie meet the team-1

Senior Account Manager

What does an average day look like for you?

First thing in the morning once I’ve opened my eyes, had a coffee or two and most importantly; breakfast - I crack the laptop open and check my calendar. This usually consists of client calls, team catch ups and supporting our clients with any queries they may have sent across. I work closely with both the SEO and PPC team in ensuring the strategy is working effectively for each of our clients. I tend to finish my day with a swim, sauna or steam room - the most relaxing way to finish the day. Can’t beat an evening swim!

What’s the most challenging part of your job?

The most challenging part of my job is meeting lots of new faces and remembering everyone's names, roles and connection to their businesses! I am not the best at remembering names and often find myself having to double back at notes or ask the person what their name is again; facepalm moments for me.

Any advice for those who want to do what you do?

Be yourself and nothing less, personality is the most important key to being a successful account manager. You can’t teach authenticity.

What future design and/or technology developments in the industry are you excited about?

I am looking forward to seeing the changes within Google Analytics over the coming year and how marketing strategies evolve: Google is phasing out Universal Analytics. Some of our clients already have GA4 plugged into their sites which is a good future proof method. I’m intrigued to see how this will affect site traffic and cookies for the future.

What are your passions/hobbies/interests?

As most millennials, I am an avid social media poster and professional scroller. I also love dancing and music. If I’m not chucking shapes on the dance floor, I'll be holding my own karaoke carpool. In my down time, I like to sit and paint, draw and get creative with my hands.

What's your favourite thing to read in print/online?

I’m not really a reader however, I listen to a lot of audible books and podcasts- I enjoy any reads that will inspire me such as Atomic Habits or something unusual like The Unexplained.

What music is currently trending on your playlist?

I’ve recently discovered an artist called Brent Faiyaz so a few of his tracks are on repeat at the moment.

Tell us a random fact about you...

I sang at the Royal Albert Hall for the Queen as a child. Fortunately for the Queen’s ears, it wasn’t just me singing and I was a part of a school choir.
